Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American basketball professional for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played for Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the college level before being selected as the fifth pick overall by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. There are two brothers: Mario (26 and 26 years aged) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). Her parents spoilt her the best because she was their youngest. Gregory's father served in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale has a thriving lineage of family members. Ogunbowale competed in her first 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. In July of 2014 she was picked to join the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also selected to be part of the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. Even congratulated by the legendary Kobe Bryant after she hit several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Even though she is still just a rookie Ogunbowale has become a renowned basketball player, and she is bound to follow her dream.
